My practice includes many aspects of intellectual property law, focusing primarily on U.S. and foreign patent, trademark and copyright preparation and prosecution; trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings; domain name ICANN proceedings; and business transactions, including licensing and technology transfers.
I am registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with technical expertise in the mechanical and electromechanical arts. I have extensive patent experience in such diverse fields as oilfield technologies, HVAC systems, textile consumer products, computer-related technologies and medical devices.
I have represented a wide array of patent and trademark clients, from Fortune 500 companies to individuals. My primary focus is to help clients identify, develop, protect, enforce and manage their intellectual property portfolios in a manner consistent with their business objectives.
I am very active in several professional organizations, currently serving as Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and co-founder of the DFW Women in IP Law Group.
