At Klemchuk Kubasta LLP, we strive to find better ways to serve our clients, our team members, and our community. As part of KK LLP’s community service mission, we launched our “Share the Warmth” program to benefit the clients served by the Housing Crisis Center (HCC), one of KK LLP’s adopted charities.
HCC is a non-profit organization working to prevent homelessness and re-house homeless families in Dallas County. Over 11,000 households rely on HCC for assistance each year, the vast majority of whom are single mothers and veterans. Through its continuum of housing programs and services, HCC boasts an 80% success rate among its clients. This means that 80% of the clients who graduate from HCC housing programs never return to social services again in their lifetime.
In honor of our country’s veterans, the start of “Share the Warmth 2010” coincides with Veterans Day, November 11th and culminates on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7th. During the “Share the Warmth” drive, the KK LLP team will collect new and gently used winter clothing (jackets, sweaters, and similar cold-weather wear) and blankets, which will be donated to HCC.
