Jim Chester, partner at Klemchuk Kubasta LLP, spoke at the 18th Annual Texas Minority Counsel Program on September 2nd. This event, hosted by the State Bar of Texas Office of Minority Affairs, was held at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Dallas, Texas.

The American Chemical Society is the world’s largest scientific society. At the meeting, there were over 10,000 chemists ad chemical professionals in attendance. Drake’s presentation, entitled “Food for Thought – The Potential for Food Patenting,” was given to the Agriculture and Food Chemistry Division. She also gave another in-depth talk given the title of “Protecting Trade Secrets in the New Economy.” This was presented to the Small Chemical Businesses Division.
